Using the following instructions, identify a dissertation for this Discussion. Note: You will also use the dissertation for the Module 1 Assignment.
Browse the Dissertations and Theses @ WaldenLinks to an external site. database for published dissertations in forensic psychology, to familiarize yourself with the topics already covered and the types of problems/issues researched. Use search terms that are potential areas of interest for your own research.
Read the title and abstract of three to five dissertations that are related to your potential topic.
Select one dissertation that interests you most, read the introduction, and address the prompts provided. Note: You will also use the dissertation for the Module 1 Assignment.
Read the recommendations section in the dissertation you selected.
Based on the recommendations, identify a potential related research topic.
Choose simple search terms for that topic and use the Walden Library to find relevant, peer-reviewed article.
Be sure to limit your search to peer-reviewed journals.
For this activity, you will use Zotero citation management software. However, it is important to note that there are other equally effective citation management applications out there.
