Let’s ease into the semester by introducing our selves and talking casually about art, in this low stakes assignment. Along with brief introductions of yourself, I want you to start thinking about how art fits into your life, and how we are affected by it.

WE INTERACT WITH THE VISUAL (ART) WORLD ON A DAILY BASIS, HERE ARE JUST A FEW EXAMPLES HOW:
Industrial design (all functional objects we interact with – appliances, chairs, cars, phones…).
Graphic design – Everything visual on the Internet, print media – magazines, book covers, advertising in all of its forms. ALL logos. All started with an artists idea.
Fashion- everything we wear has been designed by an artist. Stores have been aesthetically designed and displayed by artists.
Architecture- all buildings designed by artists.
Interior design- all designed by artists. WE even make aesthetic choices when doing our own interior designing. We play the role of the artist.
Film- movies, television, internet based media- movies, shows, music videos, video games.
Now, I know you may be thinking to yourself… “how could an artist design that really boring looking car/house/building/shirt/appliance, etc.” Personal taste aside, all things visual are still created to be aesthetically pleasing to SOMEONE. And, I guarantee…your boring is someone else’s exciting!

FOR YOUR POST, YOU MUST ADDRESS ALL BULLET POINTS BELOW.
    FIRST, ABOUT YOU….
Tell us something interesting about yourself, your break…- this is an ice breaker folks, so- anything goes. Just make it good and conversational
Add at least one photo of yourself! Attach your image within the body of your post; not as a file attachment.

    – have referencing only from the three cases ( no outside sources)

    – be sure to reference the cases in the analysis (all 3 cases)

    – the executive summary should include numbers and statistics from the holiday case

    – in the legal analysis make sure to write about contract law and contract breach (can look at text for reference)

The greatest common divisor of integers x and y is the largest integer that evenly divides both x and y. Write a recursive function gcd that returns the greatest common divisor of x and y. The greatest common divisor of x and y is defined recursively as follows: If y is equal to 0, then gcd(x, y) is x; otherwise gcd(x, y) is gcd(y, x % y), where % is the remainder operator.

What is the role of government in securing cyberspace? ( write in 250 words )

    =====================================================

    Mid-Term Project

You are Now the CIO of a Company

    (Congratulations)

As the CIO your job is to educate your employees about cybersecurity issues to keep the company information safe and private.

CyberSecurity is a complex field. In your company you will encounter employees who know very little about the field and how to manage their own security.

You know that careless or uninformed staff are the second most likely cause of a serious security breach, second only to malware.

Sometimes personnel may take cybersecurity requirements too lightly, leading to dramatic consequences for the organizations they work for.

    Education is Our Best Weapon

Your job is to create a short 3 minute “Welcome” video or narrated presentation that will be shared with all new employees to teach them about the importance of cybersecurity and their responsibility to keep your company CyberSafe.

Please include your references in APA format.

Here are some examples from past classes to inspire your creativity.

(I have altered the presentations to keep personal information private, when requested)

Write a Guess the Number game that has three levels of difficulty. The first level of difficulty would be a number between 1 and 10(include 10). The second difficulty set would be between 1 and 100(include 100). The third difficulty set would be between 1 and 1000(include 1000).

Prompt for the difficulty level, and then start the game. The computer picks a random number in that range and prompts the player to guess that number. Each time the player guesses, the computer should give the player a hint as to whether the number is too high or too low. The computer should also keep track of the number of guesses. if the number of guesses is larger than 8, the computer will end the game and prompt “Better luck next time”. Once the player guesses the correct number, the computer should present the number of guesses and ask if the player would like to play again. (1 for yes or 0 for no)

Please see below examples for each prompts

    Let’s plan Guess the Number
    Pick a difficulty level (1,2,3): 1
I have my number. What’s your guess? 4
    Too low. Guess again: 8
    Too low. Guess again: 9
You got it in 3 guesses!
    Play again? 1
    Let’s plan Guess the Number
    Pick a difficulty level (1,2,3): 3
I have my number. What’s your guess? 23
    Too low. Guess again: 24
    Too low. Guess again: 25
