Part 1: Creating a Vision for the Plan
Understanding the Need for a Ministry Development Plan
A detailed plan provided a blueprint of where the Fold Family Ministry wants to be. It serves as a compass of what the ministry needs to do to be where it is envisioned. Besides, the plan is critical because it details everything that needs to be done, the efforts needed, the personnel, and the financial resources that are needed to make it a success. Further, the plan shows what the ministry stands for and what it seeks to achieve. This makes it possible for believers and faithful people to understand where their leaders are taking them. Further, even when there is a change of leadership, those incoming will understand the ministry standards and the values it is anchored on, and they will understand the vision of the founders through the plan.
Understanding the Need for This Specific Ministry
The world is struggling with several teachers who are not telling the truth. People are deceptive and only use the Bible for selfish gains; thus, the world needs this ministry to correct that vice and teach people the Biblical truth as envisioned by God. It is no longer a fallacy that false teachers exist. They are too many, and they are never ashamed of the wrongs they are committing by misleading God’s people. The book of Matthew 7:15 warns people that false prophets with hidden intentions exist, but they come forth as good people who are keen to help, but that is never the truth. Moreover, the world needs a ministry founded on scripture because it will be authentic and will not mislead people, which is what Fold Family Ministry stands for.
Plan for Communicating the Vision for the Ministry
The vision will be shared with individuals and groups using different platforms. First, the vision will be published on the ministry website. Besides, the vision of the ministry will be part of the videos that will be recorded to share and teach people what the ministry is looking forward to realizing. Additionally, the vision will be communicated to congregants at every service so that they can understand what Fold Family Ministry is pursuing. All leaders will also be trained and empowered, and one of the roles they will be doing is to tell people, whenever they have the opportunity, the ministry’s vision, mission, and values during face-to-face interactions.
Invitation for Participating in the Ministry Launch
The assistants to be invited to participate will come from various quarters, but the church’s voluntary church members will be part of it. Besides, the ministry will liaise with a reputable event organizer to help secure assistants who will help in every logistical detail during the launch. The ministry will pay them a stipend to encourage them to continue doing a good job. It is not easy to get assistants in the United States, but the event will happen on a Sunday when many people are free and at least it is easy to reach people who can serve as assistants during the Fold Family Ministry launch.
Part 2: Purpose of the Plan
Positioning the Ministry
The ministry will be focused on teaching the actual scriptures. It will be anchored on truth. Some ministries disguise themselves as churches, but the truth is that they are private businesses meant to enrich the founders or pastors. Others are just there. They were handed over to others by the missionaries, who saw their work there as a profession. The Fold Family Ministry will listen to the community’s needs away from the church and provide for those in need until they stabilize. Also, we weigh on having counsellors to help husbands and wives solve their problems whenever they have differences. This is the uniqueness of this ministry.
Understanding Objections to the Ministry
The following are three possible objections that the Fold Family ministry is likely to face: allegations of corruption, being money-oriented/business and ignoring people with low incomes. Nowadays, society accuses the church of only collecting and misappropriating money or the money collected is only meant for personal use by church leaders. However, I will dispel these objections because the ministry has clear objectives. The offerings that the church collects are meant for paying bills such as electricity, fueling vehicles, and meeting the needs of the poor. Also, the church is not money-oriented, and it is not a business. If we wanted to start a business, we would do authentic business in manufacturing, retail, service, etc. Finally, some churches have no space for the poor, but Fold Family ministry has a clear vision: to provide food and shelter for those in need until they stabilize. It does not neglect people with low incomes.

Some ministries with a similar or related approach to ours include Salvation Army, Lutheran Services, and MAP International. These three support society in different forms, including food for the needy, medicine, shelter, and other essential services.
Part 3: Working Outline for the Plan
Assessing the Situation
The need to create this ministry arose when we saw several gaps in the teachings and actions of many churches that have been witnessed for many years. Also, there are a lot of people suffering because of issues like sickness, job loss, and drugs, but there is no one to help them.
Ministry Summary
The ministry will be led by an overseer who oversees every operation. Then, different pastors will double as leaders in different departments. The ministry will have a board of management that works hand in hand with overseers and pastors when making different decisions. The ministry’s main goals will be preaching the actual word, charity, and community empowerment.
Leadership Summary
A board will head the ministry. The oversee who will be running the church’s daily operations will be part of the board. The church will have department leaders and representatives from men, women, and the youth.
Defining the Problem
Lack of faith defense approach that combines theology and apologetics to empower its members. This is one of the reasons that the development plan has been created to find solutions for that.
Proposed Solution(s) to the Problem
We have a robust plan that guides the doctrine of the ministry with three pillars: preaching the true gospel, engaging in charity, and supporting the community.
Analyzing the Details for the Plan
Demographic Data
As of 2022 statistics, the population of Dallas stood at 1,299,544 people. The percentage of women stood at 50.1%, and the population of older adults over 65 years stood at 11.0%. Those under 18 were 24.4%, while children below five were 7% of the city’s population.
SWOT Analysis Presented
Strengths
It is founded on scripture teachings.
It is already operational.
Weaknesses
Lack of a robust faith defense strategy that is founded on theology and apologetics
Opportunities
Dallas City has a vast population willing to listen to the teachings of the scripture.
Threats
Many churches that teach distorted information have made people believe that every church is money-driven or oriented, making it difficult to convince people to join.

Men and women who are looking for a church that is Biblically founded.
Review of Other Faith Communities
Dallas has many churches, but most of them are mainstream. The Catholic Church, Lutheran, and Seventh Day Adventist. These are deeply rooted in society, but because they have many members, they need to give personalized attention to their members. Hence, they may not compete with us in the long term. Men and women who are looking for a church that is Biblically founded.

The position statement is “to be a ministry whose preaching will be informed by the scriptures.”

The mission statement of Fold Family Ministry is “To teach, empower, and guide people according to the will of God.”

The vision statement of Fold Ministry will be to “Make disciples rooted in the word and committed to Christian values.”

The values statement of Fold Family ministry is “to teach truth, compassion, and care for others.”

The strategy statement will be “touching lives and teaching them about Christ.”

The team members will be the overseer, departmental leaders, the ministry board and anyone willing and committed to voluntarily take a role in building the ministry.
Proposed Budget for the Plan
The proposed budget will be $100,000. These will cater for operating expenses that include fueling, allowances, lunch for the team, facilitation, accommodation when sent out of town for a mission, electricity bills, water, advertising banners, etc.

Scriptural Foundation for the Plan
The ministry is founded on the following scriptures: 1 John 3: 17, 2 Corinthians 9:6-7, and Acts 9:36.
Theological Foundation for the Plan
The Bible encourages strategic planning. The ministry will work on its plans as stated in Ephesians 5:15-16.
Action Plan
SMART Goals
Goal 1
The ministry is to have 200 members by the end of one year
Goal 2
The ministry provides for people without shelter and food every three days a week
Goal 3
To raise its budgetary needs by the first half of the first year.
Tasks and Timeline
Goal 1
Go out to engage in community or charity work and also tell people about the word of God—every Sunday afternoon of the week for one year.
Goal 2
Create a donation forum to help those in need. Weekly reminders will be given on the ministry website to clarify how to donate.
Goal 3
Organize a fundraiser to make this possible. It will not be a one-off thing but a continuous thing every week for six months.
