A synectic is a process that creates a relationship between two seemingly unrelated phenomena; kind of like an analogy. In this activity, you are going to create a synectic analogy by connecting teachers or the process of teaching/learning to a picture of an event, action, or place. Using the links I have included below, there are several different pictures to pick from (or you can find another picture online and use it). You might need to save the image to your files and then re-attach or embed to the discussion post. Step 1: Choose a picture or find a new one online (You only need to choose ONE PICTURE)
Step 2: Write a statement (short descriptive paragraph) about how the picture relates to the teaching profession. Somewhere between 160-180 words. I uploaded a word document so you can pick between 4 pictures and put some examples
