Data Collection
Use a separate participant for each instruction sheet.
One participant gets survival.
Another participant gets pleasantness.
Another participant gets learning.
Let the participant read the instruction and do the task. Give at least 2 minutes.
Take the instruction sheet away.
Ask the participant to count backward from 100 for 60 seconds (filler task).
Give the participant a blank sheet of paper and ask to recall and write the words from the instruction sheet (in any order and guess if necessary).
Report the data by filling out the data sheet (another file).
Instruction: For each participant, write the number of animate and inanimate words he/she recalled.
