You will need to use the Data Analysis and Report Template to record your work. The MS Excel Workbook contains the results from 500 completed surveys from patrons of ABC restaurant. The restaurant’s overall goal is to increase revenue.

Before you begin, review the video on How to Create Pivot Tables in Excel.

For this assignment, you will

Analyze the data using pivot tables to address a series of questions.
Analyze the data and use the data to develop strategic recommendations.
Report findings and recommendations using a narrative, charts, and graphs.

Important

You will submit the MS Excel workbook so that your work on the pivot tables can be evaluated, and the MS Word report so that you can provide answers to the questions. Be sure to copy and paste the pivot table from the MS Excel workbook into your Data Analysis Report.

How Your Work Will Be Evaluated

The MS Excel Workbook and MS Word Report both must be submitted.

Answers that require a pivot table will be evaluated based on whether the answer is correct.

For questions asking for recommendations based on the data, your answers will be evaluated based on how you apply the data and course concepts to support your recommendations.

Your submission should be free of errors related to citations, grammar, spelling, syntax, and organization, and be presented in a professional and easy-to-read format
