Note: This week I completed the pre-test for my project. I also completed the staff education about falls and how to utilize the Fall Tips Toolkit. The rehab unit had a staff meeting this week and the unit director suggested I get my recruits for both day and night shift that day. It was successful. I was able to recruit 20 staff members. Consents were signed and pre test were completed staff member were able scan the qr code to access the powerpoint created for teaching and I was able to teach. Staff members that are participating in study were give a copy of 7 Fall tool Kit laminated erasable posters so they can use for each patient during their shift. The ratio there is 1:6.
