For this Performance Task Assessment, carefully read “The Case of Mrs. C,” the clinical case study. Then, analyze Mrs. C’s case from the various theoretical orientations, which are grounded in the personality theories you have studied in this Competency. Specifically, you will write eight different theoretical analyses, each analysis based on one theory from each of the following theoretical orientations:

  • Psychoanalytic
  • Neo-Psychoanalytic/Psychodynamic
  • Humanistic and Existential
  • Trait
  • Biological and Evolutionary
  • Behavioral
  • Cognitive and Social-Cognitive
  • Integrative

Once you complete all eight analyses, you select the theoretical analysis that you believe offers the best analysis of Mrs. C’s history and symptoms, and offers the most relevant assessments and interventions for her case. Be sure to justify your answer.

In summary, your analyses of Mrs. C will integrate scholarly materials from the textbook, related articles in the course, and other scholarly materials you find during your own research. You will use these scholarly materials to support your analyses of Mrs. C. Cite and reference your work in APA format. Include one Reference page at the end of your document. Submission Length: 17–19 pages (in addition to title page and References) in a Personality Theory Case Study Analysis paper and Personality Theory Matrix.
