Implicit Bias Self-Assessment and Reflection
1. To complete the IAT self-assessment, go to Project Implicit
2. Click “Go to the demonstration tests” and read the information
3. Proceed to demo tests 
4. Complete at least three tests and obtain your results
5. Review the IAT background information – particularly about understanding and interpreting your results.
6. Reflect on your profile and answer these questions in a 3-5 pg APA formatted paper.
o What is your type and what are its characteristics?
o What are the pros and cons of your type?
o How do your biases / preferences affect the way you work with others?
o What strategies can you use to change your biases?
o How might member biases be changed and could this hamper effective leadership?
Note:
The IAT is a tool to assist with self-reflection. The purpose of this assignment is to use the IAT as a way to reflect on our own potential for bias and change.
Although there is validity to the IAT, like most self-assessment instruments, it is not perfect. You may want to take a test several times before drawing any conclusions. 
Length: 3-5 pages, not including title and reference pages
The completed assignment should address all the assignment requirements, exhibit evidence of concept knowledge, and demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the content presented in the course. The writing should integrate scholarly resources, reflect academic expectations and current APA standards.
